My vision for our parks
Together, we’re building on the strength of our park system—adding new spaces and amenities with an equity lens so that every neighborhood benefits. At the same time, we know the Minneapolis Park Board will face complex challenges in the years ahead. Our community deserves leaders who will listen closely, understand budgets and policy, and do the hard work of researching, reading, and responding thoughtfully to the issues. This campaign is about that shared vision: caring for our parks as places of joy, connection, and equity for everyone.

Our award-winning parks shaped my life—from sports at Luxton Park as a kid to daily walks around the lakes today. I want to ensure they remain vibrant, equitable, and welcoming for everyone. With experience in community leadership, arts and parks administration, and policy advocacy, I’m ready to listen, do the hard work, and protect the parks we all love.
